Who Changed My Comfort Zone??!!

Here I am, 5 a.m and writing a blog post! CLEARLY I AM OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE! It's funny how just a few hours ago I was discussing the book "Who Moved My Cheese" with my partner, and a few minutes ago I found out that I am suffering from the same symptoms the heroes of the book were suffering from! Reality Check! A phone call may be the reason for my push towards my new cheese station!

A few minutes ago, I was sitting there, facebooking, reading statuses, posting on MOD facebook page, regular me, thinking of all my wedding preparations, my house arrangements and so many more bubbles in this head of mine. Something drew my attention. AN ANT!

Well well well, it has been a while since I last wrote on this blog! As I always said, I can never write a motivational article without having a personal experience related to it! I have been thinking a lot lately about a topic to write about when suddenly I remembered a conversation with my fiance few weeks before. 

God's Angles on Earth

Finally I got to watch One Tree Hill- Season Eight after a very long wait. I was so excited to know what happened to two of my favorite actors who got shot at the end of season seven.

Ok, to get into this and cut it short, there was this scene where one of the actors suggested donating one of his kidneys and possibly ending his career life as a famous basketball player in order to save his dying best friend. This scene in particular got into me so much.

He Took a Bullet for Palestine- No for Violence

A few days ago, I was sleeping when I woke up on my friend's call. She was crying on the phone. A friend of her brother has been shot on the 15^th of May, 2011 on the Lebanese borders with Palestine. My friend was crying sadly over him so she called me to spill her heart out!

Flipping the Days of the Calendar

I just flipped the paper on my office calendar just like I flipped it yesterday. I starred in the paper for about 3 minutes! 11^th May, 2011! How did 5 months from 2011 pass! Where have they gone? We all do this every morning; we wrap the day before and flip the new day on the calendar!

A Taste of Darkness

We wake up each day, look at ourselves in the mirrors, head out and continue a normal day watching everything pass us by without even giving it much notice. However, have you ever thought how a day in the dark would be? And I mean it, complete darkness where you can see exactly NOTHING!

Well, he came up with this idea “I can start my own business, I will start my own skating show!” Having enough self confidence, enough skills, tools, and insistence, he ran to his father and told him about it. Mr. Homer looked at him with a strange look “haha… are you for real Son? You don’t need that! I’m your dad I know better.. I am smart!  Dude you wall fall infront of the cameras and girls will laugh at you!!” Marge interrupted her husband “Bart, Don’t listen to your dad! HOMER! DON’T SAY THAT! Son I believe in you. I know that once u set your mind to something you do it. So why not? Give it a chance sweetie”.

 

My teacher gave me a lesson after 20 years

Recently I had the chance to witness the magic of a simple smile. I have always been saying and quoting all famous websites “Smiling makes the suffering in the world less”! But I have never imagined that I would be facing a situation where I can truly believe and witness what a smile can do.

Those of you who are familiar with MOD Facebook page, have realized that I have changed the profile picture yesterday. And as usually done, the picture have been designed and all it needed is a simple phrase as the final touch.

That was the moment when the sentence “Release your own music… life is just a Song to be played” has been formed in my mind to reflect the theme of the picture.
